IDEA Data Import
Import is to read data for Analyzing Data by IDEA.

IDEA Append
Append is to append sevral data IDEA.

- Select IDEA data and open
- IDEA menu ＞ Analysis ＞ Append
- Input a file name
IDEA Join
Description : IDEA basic functions
Join it to merge two data by using keys.
- Select IDEA data and open, it's called Primary Data.
- IDEA menu ＞ Analysis＞Join, select Secondary Data
- Select match keys
- Check an option in Join
- Input a file name
IDEA Summary
Description : IDEA basic functions
Summary is to summarizing by some groups which are Emproyee IDs, using Transportations, e.g.
- Select IDEA data and open
- IDEA menu > Analysis ＞ Summary
- Select groups by Summarizing
- Check on boxes, statistical numbers which are Amount, Average, Standard Deviation , e.g.
- Input a file name
IDEA Extraction by Criteria
Description : IDEA basic functions
Data Extraction by Criteria
- Select IDEA data and open
- Select a cell, and Right click, Help is appeared, Select the menu in the middle, AAA include all records. AAA is depended on the cell you selected.
- Click OK
- IDEA menu ＞ Analysis ＞ Direct Extraction
- Imput a file name
IDEA Export
Description : IDEA basic functions
Export is to export into other file that you can read by other softwares, like Excel and Access.
- Select IDEA data and open
- IDEA menu ＞ home ＞ Export
Visualize
Description : IDEA basic functions
Visualize is to visualize by Chart and show statistical number
- Select IDEA data and open
- IDEA menu ＞ Analysis ＞ Visualize > Select new Dash bord
- Select a type of Chart and input required column
- Click OK and Save
IDEA Aging
Description : IDEA basic functions
Aging is to stratify and summary amount by duration between 2 date
- Select IDEA data and open
- IDEA menu ＞ Analysis ＞ Aging, Input reference date
- Input Criteria, if you need. For example, paying day is null.
- Select a duration which are 30, 60, 90 days
- Click OK
Script No1

Script is to Automate your Data Analysis
- Select IDEA data and open
- Open a History at Property Area
- You can see some Scripts, and Select a Script and Right Click
- Select this script only or all scripts
- Edit it, if you need
- Click a play button and run the Script

- Check an option in Join

IDEA Key Value Extraction

Key Value Extraction it to find key values in a field, you can extraction several files by key values at one time
- Select IDEA data and open
- IDEA menu ＞ Analysis ＞ Extraction Key Value
- Click a square box and Click fiels you want to extract
- Input a prefix name and Click OK
IDEA Random Sampling
Description : IDEA basic functions
Description of IDEA Random Sampling
- Select IDEA data and open
- IDEA menu ＞ Analysis ＞ Sampling > Random
- Input a number of Sampling
- Comfirm a seed of Random, you can see it in the History
- Imput a file name
IDEA Data Search

Data Search is to search for specific charactors, and so on.
- Select IDEA data and open
- IDEA menu ＞ Data ＞ Search
- Input charactors you want to search between wild cards, one is asterisk *, the other is question mark ?
- You can add some criteria by using connectors AND and OR
- Select some fields you want to search
- Imput a file name
IDEA Stratification
Description : IDEA basic functions
IDEA Stratification it to create bar chart, you can set the stratified interval
- Select IDEA data and open
- IDEA menu ＞ Analysis ＞ Stratification
- Select some fields that you want to stratify
- Input increment
- Click lower limit, upper limit
- Select an amount field
IDEA function, data search by @isin
Description : IDEA basic functions
@isin is one of the function which IDEA prepares, to search specific charactors
- Select IDEA data and open
- Click Criteria at Property Area, right hand side
- Imput @isin("XYZ", ABC)
- Input charators XYZ which you want to search
- Input field name where you want to search
- For examples, when you want to search "business" in the field that name is "finding fields", @isin("business", finding fields)
- Criteria can be saved, if you click the icon of disk.
IDEA benford
benford law is to check the frequency of the first-digit, second-digit data and so on.
